The excitement is building in North Texas as Broadway Dallas reveals the nominees for the 14th Annual Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards. This esteemed awards ceremony will take place live at the Music Hall at Fair Park on Saturday, May 17, 2025, offering a stunning showcase of local talent.
Celebrating Musical Theatre Education
Broadway Dallas aims to inspire and honor excellence in high school musical theater, spotlighting the significance of arts education in our community. From 78 productions across 74 participating high schools, a dedicated panel of judges selected nominees who exemplify outstanding talent and hard work. Ken Novice, president and CEO of Broadway Dallas, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "The High School Musical Theatre Awards is the event we most look forward to every year, celebrating the spirit of Broadway in Texas.”
Honoring the Next Generation of Stars
The awards span 15 categories, recognizing excellence in performance, direction, and production quality, with scholarships awarded to top graduating seniors transitioning to further studies in the performing arts. This year, Broadway Dallas will grant $65,000 in scholarships, aiding the next generation of talent and continuing its mission to nurture artistic endeavors.
