ARTISTIC/
MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Julie Pietrangelo

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, and a Bachelor of Education from York University, Danzielle has participated in a variety of both performance and choreographic opportunities. MASTER OF CEREMONIES
Jim Swan
The Voices of Broadway Show Choir is thrilled to welcome back Jim Swan as our Master of Ceremonies.  Jim is retired after a career in broadcasting that spanned 60 years.  His face and voice became familiar to people throughout Southwestern Ontario as a result of years in front of cameras and microphones in Woodstock, Wingham and London and  his presence as MC at countless events. Jim is past-president and current member of the Board of Directors of the Agape Foundation of London, past-president of the Garrison Community Council London and Region, and belongs to the Rotary Club of London. Jim still enjoys providing MC services. He and his wife Joanne are happy to be busy from time to time with grandchildren.
A Message from the Musical Director
Welcome to Voice’s presentation of “Jukebox 2”! Preparing for this show has been a lot of fun, as most of the songs are familiar to everyone. Jukebox Musicals use pop tunes for their musical score, and it can be very nostalgic to revisit the songs in a different context. The overall show is lively and upbeat, and we invite you to go ahead and react: shout, cheer, clap, cry, laugh – Jukebox Musicals is not just to be listened to, but experienced!

As we close out Voices 13th season, I continue to feel so very privileged and honoured to be working with so many talented people. Heartfelt thanks to Danielle, our choreographer, for her creative staging & movement, and for taking so very little time off to have her first Broadway Baby. Additional shoutout to Becky Tompkins, our Dance Captain, who filled in for our choreographer, and guided the choir members through rehearsal time!! Huge thank you to Steven Morley, our accompanist & my collaborative partner, who helps the singers so much at every rehearsal, and coordinates the band. Thanks also to the band members who add SO much to our performance!

Kudos and thanks to our choir members, my “small but mighty” gang. They are so dedicated and committed to excellence and give so much time outside of rehearsal to learn the repertoire and the stage routines. Extra shoutout to the many choir members and the Lead Team who do so
much of the behind-the-scenes tasks and contribute so much to the success of Voices. I also wish to acknowledge and thank our many volunteers working for us today – without you the show could not go on.
